Filipino Friday, January 17th

Lumpia (Turkey/Pork)  $9 (4 pcs)

  • made with paper-thin lumpia wrappers and filled with a savory mixture of ground pork or turkey, cabbage, and other vegetables. Serve lumpia as a side dish or appetizer with a sweet chili dipping sauce. 

Crispy Pork Belly  $13

  • slow-roasted pork belly cooks confit-style in its fat, yielding ridiculously juicy, tender meat and crowned with the most amazing crispiest crackling 

Beef Caldereta (served with rice)  $16

  • Beef Caldereta is simmered to tenderness in a spicy tomato sauce. Chockful of potatoes, bell peppers, and green olives, this classic Filipino stew is hearty, tasty, and perfect for family dinners or special occasions. 

The Family’s “Pinaupuang” Chicken Adobo  $14

  • A Family chicken recipe made with tomatoes, soy sauce, garlic, black pepper, salt, bay leaves, and a little brown sugar to balance the flavor. It’s a flavorful dish with a mildly sweet, tangy garlic and soy flavor. This dish is traditionally served in every Christmas celebration. 

Kombucha, Green Beans in Coconut Kaffir Lime Sauce w/Tofu or Shrimp (Vegan)  $13 /$16

  • “Ginataan” or Coconut is popular among Filipinos because simmered coconut milk not only adds flavor to any dish but also heightens whatever flavor the main ingredients already have. 

Turon (Banana/Jackfruit lumpia) w/ice cream  $7 (3 pcs) +$1.25

  • Turon is a type of Filipino snack. It is also called banana lumpia due to its similarity to the popular Filipino lumpia. A typical Filipino “meryenda” and dessert, Turon has gained popularity throughout the years. This sweet snack can usually be seen on the streets being peddled along with banana-cue or even vegetable lumpia. 

Ube / White Rice Cake  $5

  • Filipino sticky rice cake made of glutinous rice and coconut, and packed with ube (purple yam) flavor. 

Cassava Cake  $5

  • Cassava cake is a traditional Filipino moist cake made from grated cassava, coconut milk, and condensed milk with a custard layer on top.

Korean Saturday, January 18th

Korean Japchae Noodles (Vegetarian/GF) w/shrimp   $12 / $14        

  • Japchae, literally means “mixed vegetables.” However, the main ingredient of this classic dish is Korean sweet potato starch, also known as glass noodles. It has shitake mushrooms, red, orange and green bell peppers carrots, spinach, onions, garlic, and eggs. 

Kimchi fried rice (GF)   $11

  • Korean dish made basically with kimchi and leftover rice, topped with fried eggs. 

Korean pancakes (5/10)  $12 / $18

  • Pajeon are savory Korean pancakes made from flour, water, and eggs and feature green onions or scallions as a dominant ingredient, and added vegetables like zucchini, cabbage, carrots, kimchi, onions and red cabbage. 

Beef / Chicken Bulgogi  $16 / $14

  • Thinly sliced beef / chicken marinated in a sauce made from soy sauce, sugar or honey, sesame oil, garlic, onion, and secret juice.

  • Al dente pasta, saucy chicken or shrimp, and crisp-tender veggies are all pulled together by a spicy, savory, and just a little bit sweet sauce! 

Thai Drunken Noodles with Chicken $16

  • Pad Kee Mao is spicy and savoury. Noodles is lighter in color and not as sweet. 

Japanese Chicken Curry $16

  • Japanese curry is typically milder, thicker, and has a more savory flavor due to its reliance on a curry roux and stock base
